WASHINGTON (AP) - John McCain says Democratic rival Barack Obama is bad for business. In remarks to small business owners Tuesday, McCain said Obama's policies would mean higher taxes and higher overhead costs. McCain also criticized the Illinois senator for pledging to renegotiate the North American Free Trade Agreement. McCain says small businesses make the economy run and Obama would slow the creation of new jobs. McCain was briefly interrupted by protesters who screamed that war is bad for small business. Economic issues have taken center stage in the presidential race. Obama says McCain's policies are no different from President Bush's, and he blames those policies for the slumping economy. McCain was introduced Monday by Ebay CEO Meg Whitman.
