SEATTLE, Wash. - Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren is known for not being very lenient when it comes to players missing practice. So the Seahawks couldn't help but smile when Holmgren had to miss the first two days of the teams mini-camp in Kirkland. Holmgren was back Wednesday. He had to take care of a minor undisclosed medical issue. Holmgren did not talk to the media Wednesday, but the players did. They couldn't help point out the irony of the big boss sitting out.
"He's always preaching to the team that you got to know the difference between being hurt and being injured," said Matt Hasselbeck. "Ill just leave it at that. You know I have all these great funny things to say, but..." The mini-camp concludes Thursday. The players return for training camp July 26.
