Colleges In Washington Hope Website Boosts Enrollment
KENNEWICK, Wash. - Colleges in Washington have a new plan to attract more students to get their degree. The state's 34 community and technical colleges are introducing a new website they hope will make it easy.
It's called CheckOutACollege.com. And that's exactly what they hope students will do ... check it out.
The colleges want you meet Theo, Cara, and Curtis. They hope the trio's personable approach will help students figure out what career they like, which Washington college suits them best, and how to get started.
The site also has tips on how students can pay for college. It offers information in Spanish, Russian, Vietnamese, Korean, Cambodian and two types of Chinese. And there's also a fun video.
If you'd like to check it out. We've got a link to it here on our website.
