23-Year-Old Kennewick Man Died After Being Taken To Benton County Jail

KENNEWICK, Wash. - Thursday there was an investigation into the death of a 23-year-old who was taken to the Benton County Jail Wednesday night.

The Benton County Coroner said there is an autopsy scheduled for Friday afternoon.

Sheriff's deputies reported that 23-year-old Benjamin Allen Miller of Kennewick was taken into custody on warrants after a traffic stop.

He spent the night at the jail.  The Sheriff's Office said that Miller looked ill during breakfast and was taken to Kadlec Medical Center but died at the hospital.

Captain Al Thompson said, "Our condolences go out to Mr. Miller's family.  It's very tragic, especially not knowing what the circumstances... Our hearts go out to them."
