Tri-Cities Native Living in Flooded Indiana Town

Posted: Updated:

WEST RICHLAND, Wash.--Parts of an Indiana town have been ravaged by flooding, tornadoes and earthquakes in recent weeks.

And one Tri-Cities native now lives there.

Sarah Rader and her family live in Bloomfield, Indiana.

She told KNDU by phone about the devastation she and her neighbors are dealing with.

Sarah mentioned how the tornadoes don't really scare her. It's the spiders in her basement.

KNDU asked Sarah if the severe weather continues, would she come back to the Tri-Cities.

She said she would love to use the flooding and tornadoes as an excuse, but admits she is happy in Indiana.

And rightly so, Sarah and her husband Jason, are expecting their second child on Christmas Eve 2008.
