The Port of Benton Continues to Celebrate It's Fiftieth Anniversary
BENTON CITY, Wash. - The Port of Benton continued celebrating it's fiftieth anniversary Saturday with the June Jamboree Celebration.
Events were planned for the entire, including live music, crafts vendors, kids activities, as well as a wine and beer garden for the adults. Everyone had to bring cans to donate to the benton city food bank.
June Jamboree Chairwoman Marry Ravage said, "We're going to be getting a new food bank next year and so this part is going to help pay electricians and what not for it so we can get the new building."
All proceeds from admission costs will also go to the new food bank.
