GRANGER, Wash- People of Granger gathered to watch the demolition of a historic building today.
The KDNA building was home to many businesses including a hotel, school and a radio station.
One man worked for 26 years at the radio station. He says he is sad to see it go but it is a new era and a new era means a new building.
The building was built 110 years ago. It is falling apart and would cost the city too much money to fix the damages.
The building will be replaced with a plaza. The city says they will begin construction as soon as KDNA is torn down.
