KENNEWICK, Wash. - The Tri-Cities fever have been pretty inconsistent on the field lately. Looking great one week, playing bad the next. Its all added up to a 4-7 record.
In Saturday's loss to Spokane, the Fever were down by 33 before coming back with a strong second half. The Fever host Arkansas Saturday and coach Cedric Walker is still waiting for his team to put it all together.
"Going back to the Central Valley game, we played our game for the majority of the game," said Walker. "We did good things, and then we decided we wanted to play a little bit in the fourth quarter last week. It's like I've been harping with the guys. We got to be able to play four quarters, You are playing against some teams that are gonna bring it."
We got to bring the intensity every time. We got to be able to sustain that for four quarters."
The Fever need to win most, if not all of their remaining five games, to make the playoffs.
