Harley-Davidson Poker Run for the Muscular Dystrophy Association
KENNEWICK, Wash-- Starting at the Shumate Harley Davidson, 100 bikers rode 120 miles and stopped to play poker for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The event was part of the Rattlesnake Mountain H.O.G. Chapter's Poker Run.
Harley's, dice, and hot dogs were the themes of today's event and all the money raised went to sending kids with Muscular Dystrophy to summer camp.
"This money goes for a camp up in Idaho and all the money goes to it. It costs $800 a kid to send them to camp," said Joe Vance, President of the Rattlesnake Mountain H.O.G. chapter.
The Muscular Dystrophy Association is Harley Davidson's National Charity. Rattlesnake Mountain H.O.G. chapter would like to have an even bigger turn out next year.
