KENNEWICK, Wash - Prosser grad Tali Ena will be the starting quarterback for the Fever when the team travels to Boise this Saturday.
Ena was the backup last Saturday when the team lost to Arkansas, but performed better than starter John Pierce. The Fever are 4-8 and need to win their last four games to have a shot at the playoffs. With that in mind, coach Cedric Walker has cranked up the intensity in practice this week.
"We're trying to pretty much set the tone right now to get this thing going," said Phil Gooodman. "We can't afford to lose anything-- period."
"We are at the point now where it's panic mode," said coach Cedric Walker. "We gotta have this game this weekend. We've picked up practice this week a little bit. Guys understand what needs to be done and what we need to do."
