Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash-- A Sergeant at the Benton County Jail confirmed that a woman suspect, believed to be linked to the missing body found in Columbia Park, is being held on an investigative hold.

Since Saturday morning Phiengchai Sisouvanh Synhavong, 23 year-old from Kennewick, has been held without bail for first degree murder. Kennewick Police say Synhavong is the only suspect being investigated in connection with the woman's body found in Columbia Park on Saturday.

A Kennewick Firefighter Paramedic confirmed that the fire department responded to a call at 11 p.m. on Friday for a baby not breathing. The baby was taken to a Spokane Hospital, but police won't say if the baby is related to this case.
Kennewick Police are continuing their investigation and working with the Washington State Patrol Crime Lab.

"Fortunately we are a police station that has the resources that we can address this immediately and effectively," said Sgt. Randy Maynard, Kennewick Police Department.

The Benton County Coroner completed an autopsy on the body and says the woman's identity is known, but he will not release anymore information until tommorrow afternoon's news conference at the Kennewick Police Department.
