Body of Missing Boater Found in Columbia River

KENNEWICK, Wash-- The Benton County Coroner, Rick Corson, confirmed they've found the body of 74 year-old Ed Gilbert, who's body has been missing since Saturday, June 14th after a boating accident.  
Around noon Sunday, June 29th, a fishermen found Gilbert's body floating in the Columbia River between Clover Island and the Mcnary Dam. 

The Columbia Basin Dive Team was called in to help. The coroner was able to identify the body with dental records and a wedding ring. His family has been notified.  

Fifty-one year-old Michael Nethercutt, the man accused of causing the deadly boat crash on the Columbia River, pled not guilty to homicide by watercraft and assault by watercraft.
