KENNEWICK, Wash-- Cyclists from around the world are camping in Columbia Park this weekend. They are part of the Sea to Sea 2008 bike tour to raise awarness for poverty around the world. The nine week long ride started in Seattle six days ago and will end in New Jersey. The cyclists have raised more than a $1.5 million to help fight poverty. Each of the 150 cyclists had to raise $10k to enter the tour. Some of the stops they will be making include Salt Lake City, Chicago, and Niagra Falls. Most of the cyclists are part of the Christian Reformed Church and they will be having a church service in Columbia Park tomorrow at 10:30 am before they start their ride to Pendleton.
