Pasco Murder Suspect Claims not Getting Adequate Medical Care in Jail

Posted: Updated:
PASCO, Wash-- Defense Attorney's for Vicente Ruiz said at a hearing today that he's not getting adequate medical care in jail and his lymph nodes are swelling up.

Ruiz is accused of killing five people in a shooting at Medina's Auto Body in Pasco back in 1987. He was extradited from Mexico to stand trial. The date is set for August 18.

Prosecutors say the defense has no evidence of Ruiz being treated poorly in jail.
