QB Josh Kellett leaves Fever

KENNEWICK, Wash. -  If the Tri-Cities Fever win their remaining three games, there's a slight chance they can still make the playoffs.  However don't look for former starting quarterback Josh Kellett to return from the injured list.
Over the team's bye week, Kellett decided to leave the team.  He missed the last six weeks with ankle and achilles problems, and since he wasn't healing any time soon, he decided to leave the team and go back to his family in Texas. A month ago, the Fever were winning with Kellett on the field. He threw 14 TDs in three and a half games. Fast-forward to mid-July and the Fever have fallen to 4-9.
They host Amarillo Monday, July 14. Coach Cedric Walker is trying to see if any starting free agent quarterbacks are available for the rest of the season.  If he doesn't bring anybody else in, Prosser grad Tali Ena figures to remain the starter under center.
