FINLEY, Wash-- Firefighters say they were impressed by the size of the flames of the fire that began around 5 p.m. Monday. No one was living in the double wide mobile home near Cochran Rd., but the new home owners had moved in all their belongings. Firefighters say it was most likely materials from renovations that started the fire but have not determined the exact cause."Several of our guys who have had a lot of fires under their belts were very impressed with how aggressively this fire was burning," said Capt. Jeff Ripley, Benton County Fire Department.
The home is a complete loss and the family doesn't have insurance. The Red Cross has been contacted to help them out.
