RICHLAND, Wash.- Hundreds of skateboarders turn out for a chance to make it big on a national tour.
The National Concrete Rodeo Tour hit the Richland skatepark Tuesday.
Participants in eight age groups got a chance to medal, for a chance at making the national finals.
KNDU caught up with defending champ Justin Thompson after his first run.
"Yeah, it's gonna be a little harder. My first run wasn't so good, but last year mine wasn't either, so hopefully I can bring it up the second time," Thompson said.
It's the third year Richland has hosted a stop on the tour.
Hundreds of spectators also turned out to catch the action.
