KENNEWICK, Wash.-- Kennewick police say they got reports of 42 different areas in Kennewick spray painted on Thursday night.
Police say most of the graffiti was sprayed on the Southeast end of Kennewick. On Olympia Street from 27th down to 10th Avenue and you can easily spot some of the areas hit.
Everything from fences, to stop signs, and even the Kennewick American Baseball Field were hit. Police say they still don't know who's behind the tagging.
"Based on the dollar value of the damage and when you're talking about 42 locations and the amount of time and materials to clean it up or repair it or make it go away, it very quickly will hit the felony dollar amount," said Sergeant Randy Maynard, with the Kennewick Police Department.
Police say they think this graffiti could be gang related. On Friday, there were some city crews on the corner of 10th Avenue and Olympia Street doing some damage control.
Police are asking anyone with information to call the Kennewick Police Department.
