A Yakima man who had been missing was found Wednesday night

YAKIMA, Wash-A man who had been missing since the 13th was found late Wednesday night.

Officials say Ron Wagner was found in his car by Nasty Creek and had apparently killed himself by carbon monoxide poisoning.

We spoke with his sister Tina Beaman today.

Tina says Ron's brother called Search and Rescue saying he planned to commit suicide.  But Search and Rescue didn't look until a day after the phone call and she feels they didn't look far enough.

"They didn't even look on the road right there where he was at just not even a half a mile up the road...open field... no trees around... nothing... nothing," said Tina.

Tina says Search and Rescue went up and down a road that was less than 100 feet away from Ron and his white Suzu.

The search was called off after two days.  That's when Tina called in two rescue airplanes.  They found him in two days.

Tina says Search and Rescue did apologize, telling her they thought someone had checked the area.

We called Search and Rescue but they did not return our phone calls.
