Two People Arrested on Unrelated Charges After Colliding with State Patrol Vehicle
TOPPENISH, Wash. -- Two people from Toppenish were arrested Tuesday morning for outstanding warrants after their Chevy Blazer crashed into a State Patrol vehicle.
The trooper was driving on Robbins Road at about 12:30 a.m., responding to a possible stabbing in White Swan, when the Blazer turned in front of him. The driver, Lucy Laclair, 49, was ticketed for failing to yield to an emergency vehicle.
Terry Lewis, 54, of Toppenish, was arrested and booked for an outstanding felony warrant in Oregon. Joanne Hunt, 62, also of Toppenish, was jailed for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
