National TV Show In Northwest to Learn About French Fries
HERMISTON, Ore.-- The host and crew of a national show were in the northwest Tuesday. They're from the show "Made to Eat," which debuts on the History Channel this fall.
It's a part of the Modern Marvels series, and will be the only show with a host. The host is Bobby Bognar. He gets to travel and see how your favorite meals get from the farm to your fork.
The debut episode they shot Tuesday features an American classic, a cheeseburger and fries. Bognar was at the ConAgra Lamb Weston plant in Hermiston, Oregon today, learning how to make french fries. Bognar says, "We've already visited a bakery. We've already visited a pickle factory. We're going to head off to a beef farm pretty soon, but a cheeseburger wouldn't be complete without a great order of french fries."
