Service Dog Goes Missing

Posted: Updated:
YAKIMA, Wa.- The sound of a squeaky dog toy usually brings Princess, a toy poodle, running to her owner's side but Princess hasn't been seen since Saturday.

"She does so much for me and I really need her back. I really miss her," said Debra Tadreau, her owner.

Princess disappeared this weekend. Debra said she was out of town and left her with her neighbor. Princess and Remie, her neighbor's dog, were both outside when Princess disappeared. There is no sign of how Princess went missing but her owner says she did not run away.

"She's always right there. She's not a wanderer and she's not one to take off," said Tadreau.

Princess is an 18-month-old puppy. She has unique strawberry blonde coating and weighs four to five pounds but princess isn't just her pet, she's also her caretaker.

"When I'm depressed she's trying to get me up and get me going," said Tadreau.

Princess is a trained service dogs and helps Debra deal with her seizures and mild depression. Debra says without princess...things will not be the same.

"I don't have that safety of knowing she's around," said Tadreau.

Debra says she just wants her puppy back, no questions asked.
