Unlimited Lights, Mark Evans back for Water Follies

KENNEWICK, Wash.-- While the big hydros have returned, the Unlimited Lights are also back.

A couple of them were on display on Thursday at Atomic Screen Printing in Kennewick. Atomic is the only local company with an Unlimited Light team at the races this weekend.

Driving their boat will be Charles Xaudaro, also from the Tri-Cities. We also talked to Mark Evans, a former driver. He says this year he's going for a different kind of ride.

"We really wanted to get the boat back out this year, so they're going to put me in the show and I'm going to go out by myself, and go tearing around with the thing, so watch out I'm going to do some broadies, going to jump some waves, see what I can do with the boat," said Mark Evans, a former driver.

Evans' boat is a four seat hydroplane, and can go up to 200 mph. It will be featured all weekend long.
