PSACO, Wash. - The Vancouver Canadians defeated the Tri-City Dust Devils 7-6 in 11 innings Monday night. The game lasted four hours, thirty-seven minutes. The Dust Devils had a chance to win in the bottom half of the 11th, but Jordan Pacheco struck out. Pacheco argued that he got a foul tip, but the umpires did not reverse the call.
Jose Guzman (2-1) earned the win for Vancouver, while Carlos Luna (1-2) took the loss for the Dust Devils. Charlie Blackmon was 4 for 6 with a double for Tri-City, while Jeremy Barfield was 4 for 6 with a home run for Vancouver.
Naturally, Monday's marathon game will be followed by the Dust Devils' lone day game of the season at Gesa Stadium, 11:15 a.m. Tuesday morning.
