Huskies Golfer Has Good Performance In Canada

OAKVILLE, Ontario (AP) - By tying for 53rd at the Canadian Open
that wrapped up on Sunday, University of Washington golfer Nick
Taylor notched the best finish by a Canadian amateur at the event
since 1972.
Taylor finished the tournament with a 1-under-par 283, the first
Canadian amateur to finish as well since Nick Westlock tied for
34th 36 years ago.
Taylor had rounds of 70, 70, 72 and 71 in the four-day
tournament at Oakville, Ontario.
The native of Abbotsford, British Columbia, is headed into his
junior year with the Huskies.
