Two Arrested Tuesday Morning For Allegedly Trying To Use Stolen Checks At Bank in Hermiston

HERMISTON, Oregon - Two people were taken to the Umatilla Jail after police said they were using stolen checks on Tuesday.

They apparently were trying to pass a stolen check at the Columbia River Bank in Hermiston.

30-year-old Tracy McConnell of Umatilla and 28-year-old Michael Torres of Pendleton were also arrested for having meth and for theft and forgery.

Police said they also found other property in their car that they bought with stolen checks.
