KENNEWICK, Wash. - A man was stabbed and Kennewick Police were looking for suspects Tuesday night.

Police were called to the Kamiakin Apartments 4711 West Metaline Avenue in Kennewick.  Police said the man was stabbed on his side underneath his arm pit.

Police arrived to find the stab victim near the main offices to the apartments.   They think the assault happened somewhere in the surrounding area of the apartment complex.

It's unclear if the victim lives at the apartments.  Detectives were called in to investigate.

Police said the victim is not cooperating.  They said he is a known gang member and has been in trouble for selling rock cocaine.

He was taken to Kennewick General Hospital.  Police believe this incident is drug related.

Early Wednesday morning Police were questioning witnesses and taking statements from people involved.
