The Food Network Visits Lamb Weston Potato Plant In Richland
RICHLAND, Wash. - ConAgra Lamb Weston is getting a lot of attention lately from several national TV channels.
Last week the History Channel was visiting its potato processing plant in Hermiston. Wednesday, a TV crew from the Food Network was filming at the plant in Richland.
Lamb Weston makes french fries for people and restaurants across the country. The Food Network is using the footage for its show, "How'd That Get On My Plate?"
"It's exciting. It's something different out of our normal routine and I think that the people that work in this plant it's exciting for them too," said Matt Wallace, Manager of Plant Quality, ConAgra Lamb Weston, Richland Potato Processing Plant.
Part of the show will focus on how technology has changed the way french fries are made.
The show is expected to air on the Food Network around September 22nd.
