BELLINGHAM, Wash. (AP) - An autopsy showed that a woman who was found dead near a burning boat on a Lummi Reservation road was dead before the fire started. Whatcom County Medical Examiner Gary Goldfogel is waiting for tests results that may determine how the woman died. He's also trying to identify her. She was badly burned in the July 24 fire and the body was found by firefighters. The FBI, which has jurisdiction on tribal land, is investigating with Lummi police and the Whatcom County sheriff's office.
