RICHLAND, Wash. - Oasis School in Richland claims to provide "hands on" experience based curiculum that takes students deeper into learning.
"We take kids very, very deep with lots of research, lots of experiences, and it makes learning engaging. We engage both the hearts and we engage the minds," says Phyllis Ferguson, Teacher and Education Specialist.
Students ages 5-14 years are offered a state of the art comprehensive education in a one on one setting, with the class size limited to 12 students.
Each student receives what Oasis calls a "Research Based Understanding" encouraging students to contribute to society.
Tuition for the school year is $6,000.00 and fundraising efforts are done to help those who cannot afford it.
