Kids Haircuts for Brain Cancer

KENNEWICK, Wash-- Several Tri-Cities kids got haircuts for a good cause today. Studio One Salon gave haircuts to kids for $10 for three hours.

The salon is raising money for a local boy suffering from brain cancer. Four year-old Cooper Larsen was diagnosed 10 months ago. The salon raised $700, which will help Cooper continue chemotherapy.

"It's amazing. It's great to see and people are donating way more than we are asking for it's amazing, we've already earned a ton of money," said Erin Skaug, receptionist at Studio One Salon.

An MRI on June 25th revealed Cooper's tumor had grown four millimeters in eight weeks. It's going into the center of his brain and may cause him to have personality changes and nightmares.
