WALLULA, Wash-- A wildfire burning in Wallula is still not fully contained and won't be until Tuesday. The fire started around 11:30 a.m. yesterday morning and has burned about 500 acres. It started between Highway 12 and the Walla Walla River and even jumped the river last night. The land that has burned is part of the Mid-Columbia Refuge. The Department of Fish and Wildlife is investigating how it started.
