TACOMA, Wash. (AP) - Rob Johnson hit a two-run homer and Jon Nelson doubled in two runs as the red-hot Tacoma Rainiers stretched their season-high winning streak to eight games with a 5-3 victory over the Albuquerque Isotopes last night at Cheney Stadium. The Rainiers won for the 11th time in 13 games. Six-foot-five right-hander Andy Baldwin started and earned the win to improve his record to 8-5. Baldwin pitched seven innings, giving up two runs on nine hits. The teams wind up a four-game series in a game that starts at 11:30 a.m. today before the Rainiers open a four-game series at Las Vegas, Nevada, beginning Friday night.
