RICHLAND, Wash. - A group of A.C.E.S., American Citizens Encouraging Support, wanted to show their gratitude for the 81st Brigade before they deploy to the Middle East.

About a dozen members of the A.C.E.S. group left from Richland to cheer on the troops as they leave the Yakima Training Center.

They gathered in the Denny's parking lot off George Washington way as early as 5:30 A.M. Thursday morning.

Many brought flags and banners to carry as they line Firing Center Road outside the YTC.

Here's what one person wanted to say to those in the brigade.

"Thank-you so much for everything your about to do for us.  You'll never know how much it means to us.  God Bless," said Jill Walters, A.C.E.S.

A.C.E.S. members say they'll be sure to send the troops care packages while they serve overseas.
