Tri-City beats Yakima 8-4

YAKIMA, Wash. - Jordan Pacheco went 2-4 with a homerun as the Tri-City Dust Devils beat the Yakima Bears 8-4 Tuesday night at Yakima County Stadium.

            The Bears scored in the first when Roberto Rodriguez came home when Alfredo Marte got in a rundown between first and second on a steal attempt. Yakima scored again in the second on Gerardo Bustamante's sac fly.

            Tri-City went on top 4-2 in the fourth on a two-run double by Leonardo Reyes, a run-scoring error, and an RBI base hit by Charles Blackmon.  The Bears tied it with two in the fifth on a bases-loaded walk to Justin Parker and a run-scoring wild pitch.  The Dust Devils retook the lead for good on a sacrifice fly by Pacheco in the sixth.

            The Dust Devils added insurance in the eighth on a solo homerun by Blackmon and a two-run shot by Pacheco.
