Freshman Kellen Moore named Boise State Starting QB
BOISE, Id. - Prosser grad Kellen Moore has been so good at Boise State's practices, coach Chris Peterson has named Moore the starter over senior Bush Hamden. Moore redshirted last year and becomes the first freshman quarterback to ever open the season as the starter at BSU. In his senior year at Prosser in 2006, Moore was the nation's top high school passer with 66 touchdowns and 4,300 yards. Peterson said that Moore proved his football savvy, understands the offense and has performed consistently throughout spring and fall camps.
