The WSU Quarterback Question

Posted: Updated:
PULLMAN, Wash. -- After big losses to Oklahoma State and Cal, Coug head coach Paul Wulff is saying a change at starting quarterback could take place before the Coug's first road game at Baylor.

Gary Rogers, who waited five years to become the starter, completed just 10-of-21 passes and had two interceptions on Saturday against Cal.

Backup Kevin Lopina started the second half and went 3-of-7 with another pick.

Wulff says they have to find someone who can operate behind center. But both Rogers and Lopina are open to competition.
