ArtWalla wants to scare the living daylights out of you! We're hosting a a gloriously gruesome Haunted House in downtown Walla Walla during Halloween Week. It will be at the Whitman-Lacey Building at 210 W. Main St (across from 26 brix).
The Haunted House will be open to the public (of all ages) the following days and times: Saturday, 10/25: 4:00 - 10:00 pm Thursday, 10/30: 4:00 - 8:00 pm Friday, 10/31 (Halloween): 4 pm - midnight
Saturday, 11/01: 1:00 - 6:00pm Sunday, 11/02: clean up
We will need a lot of volunteer ghouls, goblins and ghosts in costume to help manage the crowds, provide extra thrills and make this special event successful. Help us out for one or more two-hour sessions: 4-6 pm 6-8 pm, 8-10 pm on 11/25; 4-6 pm or 6-8 pm on 11/30; 4-6 pm, 6-8 pm, 8-10 pm and 10-midnight on 11/31. You will need to arrive 15 minutes before your shift to allow for instructions and change over.
Plan to wear a costume of some sort -even if it's just a mask or a funny hat. We will have something for those who do not have a costume.
Please let us know as soon as possible which day(s) and times work for you. (firstname.lastname@example.org or call 509/301-0185 ) Also, please tell anyone you know who might be interested in this volunteer opportunity.
The proceeds from this event will support ArtWalla's current public art project, "Windows on the Past" a mural filling the facade of the Odd Fellows Temple façade in Heritage Park on Main Street.
