Democratic Attorneys Want Opponents Party Preference Changed on Ballot
OLUMPIA, Wash.-- Democratic attorneys have filed a lawsuit trying to force the state to stop printing the general election ballots.
They want Gubernatorial candidate Dino Rossi's party preference to be changed from "GOP" to "Republican Party."
Secretary of State Sam Reed says the Top Two primary allows candidates to describe their own party preference. Also, the State Elections Director says some ballots have already been mailed out to military voters.
