KENNEWICK, Wash.-- The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Funding Board approved a $100-million request for recreation and wildlife habitat projects.

Now it's being sent to the Governor's Office for consideration.  If approved, Benton County will get more than $4.4-million dollars, and Franklin County will get just over $1-million dollars.  The money will go towards parks, pools, and trails in each county.
