PASCO, Wash. - Members of the Kadlec Medical Community were happy to open a new clinic in West Pasco on Thursday afternoon.
The building is located on Sandifur Parkway off Road 100.
Leaders said they opened the clinic in an effort to bring more doctors into neighborhoods as opposed to forcing people to go to the hospital when they need medical attention.
People are able to receive primary care, X-rays and even have lab work done at the new building.
Kadlec Clinic President Doctor Hugh Maloney said, "People like to receive care close to where their homes are. It's easy to park, easy to get to. The opportunity and timing was right."
There are currently three doctors working there, but the building has the ability of have a total of 12 doctors on site.
There is a similar clinic under construction in West Richland and plans for another one in South Kennewick.
