Cougars At UCLA Tomorrow

Posted: Updated:

PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) - Two struggling Pac-10 football teams will
meet tomorrow when Washington State plays UCLA in Los Angeles.
The Bruins are 1-and-3 with a three-game losing streak.
The Cougars are 1-and-4 under new coach Paul Wulff.
Washington State is battling some injuries.
Coach Paul Wulff says backup running back Chris Ivory is
questionable with a hamstring injury, and third-stringer Logwone
Mitz is slowed by a turned ankle. That leaves Dwight Tardy and
Chantz Staden to carry the rushing load.
Offensive line starter Steve Ayers may miss the game with a sore
neck, while receiver Daniel Blackledge is questionable with an
injured shoulder.
On defense, linebacker Cory Evans is slowed with a hamstring
injury, so Myron Beck will start. Freshman Louis Bland may also
start at linebacker.
