Central Wash. Faces Western Wash. At Qwest Field

Posted: Updated:
SEATTLE (AP) - Unbeaten Central Washington displays its football
talent at Seattle's Qwest Field this week against Great Northwest
Athletic Conference rival Western Washington.
The Wildcats from Ellensburg (5-0, 4-0) have five straight
victories over the Vikings from Bellingham (3-2, 3-1).
The game will be the first of two games between the two NCAA
Division II schools over the final five weeks of the season.
Western Washington coach Robin Ross says the key to victory for
his team on Saturday night at 6 will be the ability of his offense
to control the clock and produce scoring drives. He believes senior
quarterback Adam Perry has the experience to dictate the tempo of
the game.
Behind Perry, the Vikings are averaging more than 28 points per
game and leads their league in total offense with 410.2 yards per
game.
