Oct 22nd & 29th - Tri-City Bicycle Club Cycling Workshop
The TriCity Bicycle Club Cycling Workshops will be held every Wednesday at 6-7:30pm for 8 weeks in the rather large Arts/Crafts room of the Richland Community Center. Please note it has been pushed back by one week due to scheduling requirements. The actual class dates/topics are listed below:
1. Oct. 22nd: I Need a Bike! Choosing a bicycle and cycling overview 2. Oct. 29th: I've got a flat, now what? Road repair & basic bike maintenance 3. Nov. 5th: Whoa! Bike Safety & First Aid 4. Nov. 12th: I have the power! Cycling techniques 5. Nov. 19th: My (fill in the blank) hurts! Bike fitting suggestions 6. Nov. 26th: Finding the Zone! Heart rate & nutrition 7. Dec. 3rd: My (fill in the blank) hurts part two! Cross training overview 8. Dec. 10th: Cycling at the speed of light! A competitive cycling primer
The cost is $5 per class or $30 for the series. Cost of tuition is applicable towards membership fee to TriCity Bicycle Club if you so desire. Cost is payable at the beginning of each workshop. Please contact Annie ASAP to be signed up for the courses, and then go tell your friends!
Finally, each instructor may choose to include a ride on the Saturday following the workshop so the students will have the opportunity to practice what they learned!
