Lobbestael Out, Lopina Maybe In

Posted: Updated:
SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - Washington State quarterback Marshall
Lobbestael will likely miss several games with a knee injury, but
former starter Kevin Lopina may be back in time to lead the Cougars
against No. 6 Southern Cal on Saturday.
Lobbestael is the former third-stringer who became a starter
after Lopina and Gary Rogers were injured in the Portland State
game. Rogers is out for the season.
Lopina, who suffered a broken bone in his back in that Sept. 20
game, practiced with the team on Sunday.
