11-Year-Old Boy Can't Play Football Anymore, But Gets Special Surprise

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash.-- An 11-year-old boy who can't play football anymore because of a rare neurological brain disorder got a very special surprise Monday night.

Football meant the world to Wayde Morris, but his football career was cut a little short.  However, he still goes to practices and even helps coach a little bit.

So tonight, the Eagles football organization surprised him with an all expense paid trip to Chicago so that he can watch the Bears play the Tennessee Titans and even stay with Linebacker Brian Urlacher.  Wayde says the Chicago Bears are his favorite NFL team, and this means so much to him, he was almost speechless.

Right after he found out about the surprise trip he said, "I'm just so amazed right now.  It's just like when I'm having a dream, and I just can't believe all of these people did this for me.   It's a dream come true, and it makes me so happy.  I don't know what to say, thank you seems like so little."
