RICHLAND, Wash.-- 25-year-old Bryan Brashear spent four months hiking the Pacific Crest Trail.
He started in June in Campo, California and finished two weeks ago, at Manning Provincial Park in Canada. Brashear showed us all the gear he carried with him.
Close to 45 pounds, including water, food, and a spot messaging system.
"One of the things that I really super enjoyed was the generosity of people, the willingness of people to just open their homes up, and let you stay there," said Bryan Brashear.
Brashear says he wanted to hike the trail just for personal achievement. The whole trail is a little over 2,600 miles long.
He says he got an infection in his leg and had to stop for about a month, before he could keep going.
