Tuesday, KNDU got the chance to talk to the owner of Aho construction. This after a report last week that the company had been revoked from the Better Business Bureau.
The owner says none of the complaints involved homes in the Tri-cities. They were all in Cheney and had to do with flaking concrete.
"They are potentially abusing their members by taking and forcing them to act on something that has no merit. Once I enter that, I enter in good faith that I'm going to give you something," said Melvin Aho, Owner Aho Construction.
None of these homes were under warranty. The owner didn't want to enter arbitration with the 10 homeowners because the results would have been binding.
He believes the BBB was misusing its power and has declined to meet with his company.
