Development Company New Vision Says Yakima Needs More Businesses
YAKIMA, Wa.- In hopes to help the Yakima Valley grow New Vision kicked off their 2009 fundraising campaign today.
New vision is hoping to raise $1.8 million to support work in the valley over the next five years. Along with the funds New Vision hopes to create 1,200 jobs at or above the county's average wage and help the growth of high value business ventures.
"And we feel there's ten....twenty....thirty plus companies out there that if we can nurture them we're going to produce some powerful results over time," said New Vision President Dave McFadden.
In 2004 New Vision signed up more than 360 members for the campaign.
