Seahawks Backup QB Seneca Wallace Returns To Practice
RENTON, Wash. (AP) - The Seattle Seahawks had backup quarterback Seneca Wallace back on the practice field yesterday at Renton after he missed almost all of last week with a calf injury. Coach Mike Holmgren says Wallace will split time this week with third-stringer Charlie Frye. If Wallace's calf holds up through that, he will start for the 1-4 Seahawks Sunday night at 4-2 Tampa Bay. Injured starting Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck will miss his second consecutive game this weekend. Seahawks safety Deon Grant was back at practice yesterday after sustaining a knee injury in last week's loss to Green Bay. The defensive co-captain is expected to start against the Buccaneers.
